Author Guidelines

As a step in the submission process, authors must check that their material meets all the following points. Submissions may be returned to authors if they do not meet these requirements.

  1. The material has not been previously published or submitted for review and publication in another journal.
  2. The article file must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (doc or docx) for all sections except the “Mathematical Sciences” section.
  3. Full internet addresses (URLs) for references are provided where possible.
  4. The text is typed in Times New Roman, size 14, single line spacing; italics are used for emphasis rather than underlining (except for URLs).
  5. Articles for the section "Mathematical Sciences" must be submitted in LaTeX format according to established templates. The main file must be uploaded in PDF format. An additional file must be uploaded without any author or affiliation information (anonymized version), as well as a second additional file in LaTeX format.
  6. The “Economic Sciences” section accepts only those articles that are strictly formatted in accordance with the approved templates.

Names and email addresses entered on the website of this journal will be used solely for the purposes designated by this journal and will not be used for any other purpose or shared with other individuals and organizations.

Information for authors

Publication of materials to the journal is carried out using the online submission and review system. Registration or authorization is available in the section "Submission of materials". The article is provided in electronic format only by uploading it through the functionality of the journal website.

The order of submission and requirements for the design of the article 

Previously unpublished material by the author (s) corresponding to the profile of the journal in Russian, Kazakh or English is considered for publication.

Articles in the "Physical Sciences" and "Economics and Business" sections are accepted only in English.

All articles are subject to mandatory peer review (expert evaluation), literary and technical editing. Additional selection of reviewers, ensuring objective and timely review is carried out by the Editorial Board. The Editorial Board of the journal determines the compliance of the article with the profile of the Journal, the requirements for registration and sends it for review to a specialist (independent expert). All reviewers are recognized experts on the subject of peer-reviewed materials and have published on the subject of the reviewed article within the last three years. The review is conducted confidentially.

The most important criteria for evaluating an article are: the relevance of a chosen topic and a posed problem; the novelty of a presented material, the author's personal contribution to a research problem; the correctness of the terminological apparatus, citation, reliability of facts; the use of modern sources and scientific methods; the theoretical or applied significance of the research; the validity of scientific conclusions; logical, accessible presentation; compliance with the requirements for the design of articles. If the article does not meet the requirements, the editorial board has the right to reject it.

Mandatory requirements for registration:

  • The IRSTI, UDC index is placed in the upper-left corner.
  • One single line spacing below authors' surnames and initials, then provide in bold the academic degree, academic position, e-mail address, and ORCID ID of all authors. Include footnotes indicating each author's affiliation (full name of the institution, city, and country where the work was carried out).
  • Below, in one interval, the full title of the article in bold.
  • Below, single spaced, is a brief abstract (150–250 words). The abstract must outline the general focus of the article, formulate its main results and be self-sufficient; it must not contain references to literary sources or to any sections and elements of the article to which it relates.
  • Key words should consist of 3–7 words or phrases relevant to the submitted article.

All of the above information must then be repeated in the other two languages (for example, if the article is submitted in Russian, all the above items must also be provided in Kazakh and English).

The text of the article should be formatted in a single column, using single line spacing. All page margins (top, bottom, left, and right) must be 2 cm.

The length of the article must not exceed 15 pages. Short communications with a minimum length of 5 pages are also accepted.

The article must include the following required sections: Introduction, Materials and methods, Results and discussion, Conclusion, Funding information (if available)). 

  • At the end, an "References" is presented. Literary references in the text are in square brackets [1].
  • The References section must include no more than 25 sources. Self-citation is permitted but must not exceed 30% of the total number of references.
  • If the article is submitted in Kazakh or Russian languages, the References is drawn up twice: the first variant in the language of the source in accordance with State Standard 7.1. - 2003, the second variant in English, the so-called transliterated list:

  • Abbreviations of words, names and names are not allowed, except for accepted abbreviations of units of measurement, physical, chemical, technical and mathematical quantities.
  • Formula expressions (must be typed in Microsoft Equation or MathType), illustrations, tables should be numbered in accordance with the sequence of their mention in the text.
  • Tables and figures must have titles and numbering (using Arabic numerals). They should include explanatory notes, comments, and a reference to the source. The number of figures must not exceed eight. Figures must be clear and of high quality, ensuring that all details are easily distinguishable.
