В частности, существует потребность в улучшении механических характеристик огнеупоров на основе шпинели MgAl2O4, поскольку данная шпинель характеризуется безупречной стойкостью к высокотемпературной коррозии. Работа посвящена изучению микроструктуры, фазового состава и механических свойств керамики MgAl2O4-ZrO2. Экспериментальные образцы были синтезированы твердофазным методом из порошковых компактов. Для комплексного изучения микроструктуры и фазового состава использовались методы сканирующей электронной микроскопии и рентгеновской дифракции. Механические свойства керамических образцов изучались через измерение прочности таблеток на двухосный изгиб. Армирование алюмината магния диоксидом циркония проводилось для улучшения механических характеристик композитной керамики. Было установлено, что изменение фракции пресс-порошка может влиять на усадку, плотность и механические свойства керамических образцов MgAl2O4-ZrO2. В частности, уменьшение фракции пресс-порошка увеличивает прочность на двухосный изгиб таблеток алюмината магния и армированного композита. Значительное улучшение механических характеристик наблюдается для композита с добавкой 40 масс. % ZrO2.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Improving the mechanical properties of technical ceramics is an urgent task of modern ceramic materials science. There is a need to improve the mechanical properties of refractories based on MgAl2O4 spinel, since this spinel is characterized by impeccable resistance to high-temperature corrosion. The work is devoted to studying the microstructure, phase composition and mechanical properties of MgAl2O4-ZrO2 ceramics. Experimental samples were synthesized by the solid-phase method from powder compacts. For a comprehensive study of the microstructure and phase composition, scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction were used. The mechanical properties of the ceramic samples were studied by measuring the strength of tablets in biaxial bending. Reinforcement of magnesium aluminate with zirconium dioxide was carried out to improve the mechanical properties of composite ceramics.
